Our 1st year Anniversary and My Birthday...

So I've been awful about taking pictures...and that is why I haven't blogged anything for a while...
BUT...we did hit a big milestone this last month! Our Anniversary....

Jason surprised me a few days early with a beautiful bouquet of roses and a very sweetly written and thoughtful note :)
.... and then we went to dinner and a movie. We used our last gift card from our wedding to eat at Olive Garden.

Here is a picture of the roses (I put them in the vase....it doesn't show them as pretty as they really were)

I surprised Jason on Sunday (our real anniversary) by making him a Filipino dish called adobo. It was valiant effort, but wasn't quite right...however...it smelled like it :) He guessed what it was when we came home from church. It tasted good, but he said the flavor was just a bit off....so i guess it's the thought that counts.

Then my birthday was the next weekend. Jason again surprised me with a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers on Friday (Birthday was Sat)

Jase was particularly proud of the vase thingy :) Very cool!

Then....he took me shopping to get some sweet sunglasses he had picked out. He just wanted to make sure I like them and they were what I would have picked....and they were. He did and amazing job!

Aren't they great?

And they totally sparkle in the sunlight (obviously exaggerated from the flash...but still pretty cool!)

So...it was a great few weeks. Sorry no pictures of us together or of Jason...seriously...I've been camera retarded lately. Just too lazy to bring it out. We're going to Baltimore in a few weeks, so hopefully I'll be better then and we can get some cool memories! Anyway...that's it for now!
