Seriously...I can't believe it has taken me this long to get a blog going...lame! Oh well! So, I figured since I'm here in Mesa kind of by my lonesome (I mean without my family around...) I decided to start a blog so I can share what I'm doing with everyone. I love to see other people's blogs, so I figured it would be fun to start my own. Sheryl, Megan, and Charise have been my inspiration because all three of their blogs are so fun and cute all the time.So a quick summary about me. I've been living in Mesa, AZ for just over a year. I graduated in Dental Hygiene about 3 yrs ago and have just been working ever since. 2 yrs in St. George and one here. I'm working 3 days a week in a general office and 1-2 days in a periodontal office (usually only one day if I can help it at all!!) I'm finishing my bachelors degree this year --thank heavens! -- I start in like 2 wks :) That should be interesting...working full time, going to school, trying to have social life and dating all at the same time. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a little stressed, but I'm actually super excited.
Living down here has been a blast, but I miss my family like crazy! They are my best friends in the world, and it was so tough to leave St. George and move away from them. I just love my parents, and my brothers and sisters and they're spouses, and my nieces and nephews! OH, man!! I just love them all. We have som much fun when we all get together. They are so much fun to be around, and I try to get home as much as I possibly can.

I moved into a really cute Town home about a month and a half ago when Sheryl and Ian and the kids moved back to Baltimore, MD (sob sob sob) Seriously though...I miss them so much. I had such a great time out here with them. They were so great to help me get settled and they are such an amazing example of the perfect way to start out a family. Blakey is my little buddy. I miss him tagging around the house with me so much! He is such a ball of joy. My room was his favorite place to be. He loved to dance to my "munzic" and just chill with me, come sit on my legs while I chill on the couch...ya know... and Little Lizzy is such a sweety too. I don't think there can be a baby with a happier disposition. I miss my kids! And I miss Sheryl and Ian, I can't even put into words how much I love and miss them, and how grateful I am for their love and time and patience in letting me stay with them the past year!. They are so great to me. I miss them terribly!

BUT...back to my townhouse...it's great! It a 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, has a downstairs living room/dining room/kitchen area and then all the bedrooms are upstairs w/ a loft in between them. It's so great.
I'm living w/ my great friend Lauralie. It's been so fun. We are perfect roomies. No drama...just good times. She is amazing, and I love living with her...even though we don't see each other very often, it's been great so far. The house is in desperate need of decorating, but all in good time :)
I really have some great friends down here. I just love the the way the church is set up, so instantly you have a social network wherever you go. We have had a lot of good times!

I've been staying active by doing triathlons, scuba diving, hiking around havasupai...and just really playing a lot the the last couple years. That has been super fun, especially the triathlons and scuba diving because I've done it with my brothers. It has really helped create an even better bond between them and I. I really hope we keep it up for a long time.

The summer has been filled with tons of traveling. Multiple trips to St. George (yay!!)...Huntington Beach, CA...Baltimore, MD...New York (double yay!!)...Washington DC, Idaho, and many trips out to Glendale -- only an hour away, but still a long drive when your tired.
And the last one brings me to personal life... :) So I'm dating such a great guy. Jason McBride. We started dating in March of this year ('08). And he is just amazing. He's been out in Glendale for the summer -- about 40 miles away. Which isn't like across the world...but it is definitely a ways out there, and makes for a lot of time on the road driving back and forth and a whole heap of gas money! But...also so much fun. He's out there with 6 guys selling pest control and there are 4 of us girls in mesa dating 4 of the guys out there, so we carpool out together and just have a lot of fun with a cool group of guys and girls.

Okay...so I think that gets me started off pretty well! I'll try to stay up on it. Hopefully I won't get too lazy to update and if anyone has any suggestions on how I can make by blog cuter, or better or easier to read or follow....etc...just let me know!
